Amy is a Global Product Marketing professional with over 26 years of experience in logistics and supply chain. She specialises in SaaS B2B, temperature-controlled solutions, and supply chain security. Amy has held several roles within senior leadership teams and has worked in  Operational and commercial roles. Her latest project was creating a product marketing function and subsequent responsibility for leading the global strategy and execution of product marketing for a Global Visibility and Risk Management SaaS provider since June 2019. Her core competencies include product development, customer segmentation, competitive analysis, market research, and an innovative approach to GTM strategies.

In 2011, Amy founded ASC and has been dedicated to creating compliant solutions for the distribution of temperature-sensitive and high-value products in the pharmaceutical and healthcare logistics industry. She also co-developed an independent one-day GDP-certified course for logistics personnel who handle or are involved in distributing medicinal products for human use. Furthermore, she is an experienced facilitator and trainer who works with the International Air Transport Association (IATA) as an external instructor for CEIV.

Amy started her career in an operations role for a global specialist clinical trial logistics provider. Then, it established the UK and Irish operation for one of the world’s leading active temperature control container organisations. She created brand awareness and education to the Healthcare and Logistics industry of the increasing need for improved compliance and Cool Chain Management. As well as airfreight, Amy has also worked within the Sea and Road arena and has extensive experience in setting up secure supply chains for High-Value Freight. Her penultimate role before establishing ASC was with a top 3 Global Third Party Logistics Provider in Healthcare and Life Sciences, specialising in Business Development and Key Account Management for Global Clients within this industry.

ASC was established to fulfil the increasing demand for expertise in compliant and secure supply chains within the logistics industry. She is an experienced facilitator and trainer and works with the International Air Transport Association (IATA) as an External Instructor for CEIV. Amy is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport.

Henry Moran joined ASC Associates in January 2016 as Cheif Operating Officer. This latest role allows him to use his operational and academic experience to support clients in obtaining their respective GDP accreditation, providing GDP compliance and supply chain security audits, gap analysis on the GDP requirements, combined with facilitating the ASC GDP course. Henry is a qualified Lead Auditor on Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001:2015), Leading Management System Audit Teams and Auditing Management Systems (ISO 19011:2011) and TAPA FSR certified Auditor.

Prior to joining ASC Associates, he worked for Mundipharma/Purdue Pharma where he started in 2006 as the International Supplies Manager.  In the role he had responsibility for the global supply and logistics of delivering product to the customer. The role also included the evaluation and mitigation of risks of pharmaceutical products in the Global Supply Chain, compliance with regulatory guidelines and Cool Chain Management.

Prior to working at Mundipharma/Purdue Pharma Henry worked in numerous logistics roles in Hi-tech Electronics, Global Logistics and Freight Forwarding. Henry is a Six Sigma Black Belt and studied in the UK at the University of Plymouth and at University College Dublin and holds a Master’s in Business Studies specialising in Manufacturing and Logistics. Henry is an Advisory Board Member of the HDA PCSC (Pharmaceutical Cargo Security Coalition).

Tom has worked in the Pharmaceutical Industry for 35 years, holding positions in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Business Process Development and Supply Chain Security Operations.

With a strong background in Quality, he worked as Business Process Development Manager with Mundipharma Pharmaceuticals in Cambridge for 10 years where he was tasked with embedding quality principles throughout business processes. As part of this he applied improvement techniques not only in the traditional areas of manufacturing and Quality Control but in other business functions such as Sales, Finance, Drug Development, Regulatory Affairs, Human Resource, Product transfers and Supply Chain Security.

In the area of supply chain security, Tom set up the Global Security Operations Group with the company in 2003, this project then led to the role of Head of Security Operations. The remit of the position was to ensure the security of products throughout manufacture and storage, as well as distribution across the global supply chain. The scope of work covered commercial as well as clinical trial material supply chains.

Tom has global experience in setting up systems and processes to protect shipments from physical damage, inappropriate temperature excursions, diversion and pilferage. He also developed and implemented an anti-bribery and corruption program for the global supply chain. He has extensive experience of facilitating and training teams on GDP and Supply Chain security, he isTAPA FSR certified Auditor and speaks regularly at many industries conference on both of these topics.
